Highlight: drag across dialogue. Cue note: enter text, then click anywhere. DCA and GO stamps can be placed anywhere on the script or either notes column. The translucent preview shows exactly where your cue will land, and the horizontal guide helps align it with dialogue. An amber outline warns when it overlaps another cue. Select a mark to drag it or edit its note.

Cut (X): choose Strikethrough and drag through the middle of a dialogue line, or choose Cross-hatch and drag a box around a larger cut passage. Select cuts to move them or change their style. Delete removes a cut; Undo restores it. Cuts stay with the script, including when notes columns change, and appear in PDF exports. The original PDF remains unchanged.

Projects contain the original PDF and editable cues. Exported PDFs include the visible notes columns as flattened pages at print resolution.

Show mode locks editing. The desktop app prevents idle display sleep; supported browsers request fullscreen and a screen wake lock. Browser permission or power settings can prevent this: check the status message. Neither version prevents shutdown, manual sleep or lid-close sleep.
